Breathing is the most important thing you do. Nothing is more important to your survival, and how you breathe influences your quality of life from moment to moment. Your breath is constantly interacting with your nervous system, metabolism and body, creating feelings of calm or anxiety, of energy or fatigue.
Breathing well helps you to live well. Yoga includes vast knowledge on using breath for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Yoga also uses breath to balance and expand the subtle pranic energies that flow in your body and interact with the external world, including other people.
