During the retreat the daily practices of yoga and Yoga Nidra offered restores a sense of inner harmony, unloads the burdens and distractions of the mind and reconnects us to the subtler layers of ourselves.   
Yoga Nidra is a conscious practice of relaxation in the pose of shavasana.  The moment you make a decision to relax, the body starts secreting healthy positive hormones and wholesome messages to every minute aspects of your body, mind and the whole personality.

New Year's Eve Program 

Start the new year by rejuvenating and revitalizing your body, mind, and spirit through the practices of yoga and meditation in an authentic ashram setting.

Create self-spaciousness to reflect on the year that has passed, respecting what you have learned and what you have achieved in 2018, but not discounting the so-called setbacks as these are the very fabric of life and potential for positive change.

We will explore the theme of sankalpa otherwise known as resolve, yoga philosophy, guided meditations, special yoga classes, mid night havan (fire ceremony), chanting and a kirtan concert. 

Learn how to set a resolve, and how to overcome the obstacles that may stand in the way of fulfilling ones resolve. 

  • Your life purpose – sankalpa, reduces doubt, and insecurities and increases personal meaningful values.
  • Your life purpose – sankalpa is like the light on the other shore beckoning you to more in that direction aligning both your inner and outer aspirations.
  • Your purpose – sankalpa strengthens the willpower to focus on what is most important for igniting creative planning and positive thinking.   

Join us and others for this auspicious celebration to joyously welcome in the new year with the lighting of a personal sankalpa candle.  Many candles of sincere intent illuminate the path of peace, meaningfulness and actions valuable for yourself and others.  

You can make this year what you want it to become. Every year comes like a blank whiteboard with nothing written on it, and it is you who writes on the blank board with a pen. You should be aware of what you write on your board, on this clean board which you begin today. Your aspiration should be to know what is being written and to ensure that you write the best story this year.

Heart in the Hands & Hands in the Moment Weekend - learning to be present: dynamic participation in the lifestyle of the Ashram as Karma Yoga – the yoga of mindful service and sharing of skills.  Participation in either the organic veggie garden or other interesting environmental projects is an exchange for all yoga classes, yummy garden produce food and standard accommodation.

This retreat is for those who wish to sustain and cultivate a positive attitude towards life.

Included are twice daily group sessions discussing the subject of focus for the day, a review at the end of the day before meditation, and the experience of regular yoga classes.


During the Living Consciously program participants will discover, experience and analyse the methods by which yogic principles and practices can be applied in their daily lives.

Course Overview


A Yoga Mindful Lifestyle Retreat differs a little from the Living Consciously program in that extra time is allocated after lunch to deepen relaxation and reclaim inner balance and direction during your personal retreat. Course material and group meetings are consistent with the Living Consciously concept of awareness.
